Lettres dactylographiées, signature autographe. - Compositeur proche de Louis Saguer, émigra aux Etats-Unis en juin 1939. - A essayé d'aider Louis Saguer à émigrer, c'est le "Julius" dont le nom revient souvent dans les lettres de Phyllis Simoni, en 1940-1941. - Un programme du concert du 14 juin 1938, à Paris, où Louis Saguer et Julius Hijman ont joué leurs propres oeuvres, est utilisé par Michael Mann pour un billet qu'il écrit le 18 juin 1938 (NLa 150, 10). - geni.com
